Mindfulness & Meditation (all levels) Wednesdays @ 7:15pm, w/ Bart & Nina
Please join us for a simple yet powerful meditation practice, in Thich Nhat Hanh's Plum Village tradition. We sit for about 20 minutes (blankets and bolsters provided, or you can bring your own), and then about 10 minutes of quiet walking meditation. After that Bart will share some teachings from the Mindful Breath Discourse, and how you can apply these mindfulness practices to your everyday life. We end with a brief check-in to see how everyone is doing. You are welcome to share (from your heart) or simply practice deep listening. Everyone is welcome, even if you have never meditated before! This is a very light and accessible practice, focused on finding present moment awareness through the body & the breath.
A $5 donation is invited after the meditation practice.
