Please join us for a simple yet powerful meditation practice, in Thich Nhat Hanh's Plum Village tradition.
We sit for about 15-20 minutes (blankets and bolsters provided, or you can bring your own), followed by a short walking meditation. After that Bart will share some teachings from the Breath Mindfulness Discourse, and how you can apply these mindfulness practices to your everyday life. We'll do a a brief check-in to see how everyone is doing, and end with a short Yoga Nidra, which supports deep relaxation.
Everyone is welcome, even if you have never meditated before!
This gathering is led by Bart & Nina, who have studied mindfulness for many years with Thich Nhat Hanh. They have created a very light and accessible practice, focused on finding present moment awareness through the body & the breath.
There is a suggested donation of $5 for this practice, which supports the building of the Ingrid School in Matopeni, Kenya.
