This class is a flow through the different elements of whole-body integration. Moving through variations of sun salutations, it will assist the integration, grounding and strengthening of the body. During the class the student will be encouraged to open their bodies through stretching/balancing poses, and to finally release into emptiness using restorative postures. The postures have been compassionately chosen so they may inspire hip, shoulder and chest openings, as well as lower back, quad and hamstring releasing. Yoga for athletes is open to all levels, and welcomes athletes to experience the deep benefits of yoga.
