In this class we follow the powerful and integrating practices of MBCY I, II & III. These sequences have been carefully created by Nina & Bart, honoring the lineage of their teachers (Pattabhi Jois via Melanie Fawer, Dharma Mittra, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Sean Johnson and Thich Nhat Hanh). This class is a contemporary approach to Classical Hatha & Raja Yoga. Every class incorporates a mindfulness-based approach to strengthen the Ashtanga (8 Limb) Yoga practices of physical, mental, emotional and energetic ' alignment'. This is not "power yoga", but a path to strength, grace and liberation.
